Vive y trabaja en Londres, donde estudió Bellas Artes en Central Saint Martins College y en Goldsmiths University. En sus instalaciones incluye el trabajo de otros artistas así como una serie de objetos dispares que combina con técnicas de archivo y representación con el fin de poner en valor cuestiones en torno a la autoría. En 2008 estuvo nominada para el Turner Prize. Ha colaborado con instituciones como The Whitechapel Gallery y el Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago y ha participado en dOCUMENTA 13 Kassel.
