(Neuss 1966). Estudió historia del arte, filosofía y literatura en Marburg y Bochum. En 1996 fundó Hartware MedienKunstVerein (HMKV) junto a Hans D. Christ donde ejerció de directora hasta 2004. De 2002 a 2004 fue comisaria en el Museum am Ostwall. En 2003 inició el proyecto404 Object Not Found. Was bleibt von der Medienkunst?. Desde 2005 codirige el Wuerttembergischer Kunstverein en Stuttgart junto a Hans D. Christ. Entre sus exposiciones más recientes destacan La bestia y el soberano (2015), Subversive Praktiken (2009), Postcapital. Archive 1989-2001 (2008); NOH Suntag. States of Emergency (2008); Stan Douglas.
