Julia Castelló

(Barcelona, 1992) graduada en Historia del Arte y en Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales (Universitat de Barcelona) y diplomada en Especialización en Fotografía en el Arte Contemporáneo (UPV), trabajó entre 2017 y 2021 como asistente del área de arte en Bombas Gens Centre d’Art (València). Fue comisaria junto a Ali A Maderuelo de la exposición Can’t Speak for Itself en La Casa Encendida (Madrid), dentro de la convocatoria Inéditos 2018. Desde principios de 2019, dirigen A10 (València), un espacio experimental autogestionado que propone invitar artistas emergentes y otros agentes a presentar acciones de un solo día. Actualmente son comisarios y coordinadores de Art i Context (IVAM).

Concreta 13 (Spring 2019) proposes the complex and vast task of addressing contemporary curating practices beyond the exhibition space. Edited by a new generation of open-call athletes, these essays analyse a context in transition, emerged from the heat of the Internet and its obsession with real time.
